ELECTROLA SWING - MUSIC : 1936 - 1937 MUSIK FÜRS DEUTSCHE HAUS

In summer 1936, "ELECTROLA" published a selection of Hot - und Sweet - JAZZ records. They show the regular label with an extra line on top of the title telling "SWING MUSIC".

Some of those were new recordings by the US american bands of BENNY GOODMAN, FATS WALLERand FLETCHER HENDERSON. Others were a few years old recordings that were not issued in Germany before like some tunes by DUKE ELLINGTON. There was only five exceptions by European masters: Four tunes were recorded by DJANGO REINHARDT & STÉPHANE GRAPPELLY and the Quintet of the HOT CLUB OF FRANCE, and one COLEMAN HAWKINS - master made in Paris, und whos backside was pressed a BENNY GOODMAN tune.
